Description
Saigon in the early days of the war was becoming a haven for refugees driven from the surrounding villages. Begging on the streets was more and more commonplace. What constituted begging I'll leave to interpretation. What's important is everyone was just trying to survive.

So honest this depiction of suffering to survive... it hurts the heart to look.
Bob George replied:
Thanks John for your heartfelt comments. The scene hurt me when I saw it as a young soldier in Vietnam and took me 50 years to report it.
