Painting depicts a 61st Combat Tracker Team in Vietnam. This duo of soldier and dog took the lead ahead of the main unit to track and spot the enemy. Attached to the 1st Infantry Division in Di An, CTTs such as this operated with most of the Infantry Divisions during the war.
