Description
Mural painted in gray scale located at Bono Photo in Arlington, Virginia. The scene of a film noire movie set symbolically represents the company's specialty of black and white motion picture and still photography processing. The eight by twelve foot artwork greets you in the lobby when entering. Subject is a dock side bar located in the Florida Keys during the 1930's.

I wish you could visit it Clotilde. Unfortunately the company closed down a few years ago.This is the reason I posted the image. The family did preserve the mural by carefully removing the wall it was painted on and hanging it in their home in the Washington, D.C. suburbs.

Glad you like it Clotilde. This mural was a challenge. If you look closely you'll see a wall heater, electrical outlets aind phone jacks that I had to work around. Many eye-tricks here!

to add: the figures are life size so along with existing perspective a viewer walks right into the scene..
